Support
We would like to hear about it.
Bloom Again is a private self-help and journaling app for people recovering from emotionally abusive or controlling relationships. If something is not working, or you have a question about your account or your data, write to us.
Contact us
Email support@bloomagain.app. We aim to reply within two working days.
It helps if you can tell us your device and its iOS or Android version, and what you were doing when the problem happened. Please do not include anything from your journal or incident log in an email — we cannot read your entries, and you should not have to share them to get help.
Common questions
I have a new phone. How do I get my entries back?
Sign in with the same email and password and everything comes back. If you started with Continue privately and never added an email, the account existed only on the old device and cannot be recovered — not by us either. If you are still on that device, open Profile → Secure your account and add an email now.
What is the passphrase for?
Your entries are encrypted with a key that, by default, is stored only on your phone. Adding a passphrase wraps that same key so another device can open them, and gives you a one-time recovery code. Settings → Encryption.
Managing your subscription
Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought them from, not by us, so they are cancelled there.
iPhone and iPad: the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions. Either way, Profile → Manage Subscription in the app takes you straight there. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
Is Bloom Again on Android?
The Android build is finished and running on internal testing. Google requires a closed test to run before a new app can be published, so the Play listing is not public yet — that waiting period is fixed and we cannot shorten it. Email support@bloomagain.app with the subject Android early access and we will tell you the day it opens, or add you to the test.
Deleting your account and your data
In the app: Profile → App Settings → Delete account. This is the fastest route and it is available to every account, including one started with Continue privately.
Deleting removes your entries and journals, your mood and anxiety history, everything in your Evidence Vault including photographs and audio, your assessments, your reminders, and your sign-in itself. It runs on our servers rather than on your phone, so it completes even if you close the app. Copies held in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an account afterwards — not even if you ask.
If you cannot reach that screen — the app is uninstalled, the phone is gone, you are locked out — email support@bloomagain.app from the email address on the account, with the subject Account deletion request. We action it within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Why we will ask you to prove it is your account. For most apps a deletion request is routine admin. For this one, the record being deleted may be the only account of what someone has lived through, and the person most motivated to erase it is not always its owner.
So we do not act on a deletion request that arrives from any address other than the one on the account, and we will not delete an account because someone tells us it is theirs. If you started with Continue privately and never added an email, there is no address to verify against — that account can only be deleted from inside the app, on the device holding it. That is a limitation of anonymity, not an obstruction: we genuinely cannot tell your account from anybody else’s.
If you are being pressured to delete your own record, you do not have to reply to this email at all. Nothing happens unless you ask for it.
If you are in danger
Bloom Again is a documentation and self-support tool. It is not therapy, not medical or legal advice, and not an emergency service, and it never contacts anyone on your behalf. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.
